We need enough fuel to function and be healthy.
Unused fuel turns into stored fuel.
Stored Fuel = Fuel Input - Fuel Burned
In order to reduce stored fuel, the burned fuel needs to be greater than the fuel input.
In order to manage this, the fuel input needs to be known and the fuel burned needs to be known.
Data should be tracked and trended which this management is desired.
The key to not overeating, is to plan out and eat small amounts of healthy food throughout the day.
It is better to eat 6 small meals than 3 big meals. And eat healthy foods -- high in nutrients.
1. Healthy and moderated breakfast
2. Healthy morning snack around 10AM -- fruit or veggies
3. Healthy and moderated lunch
4. Healthy afternoon snack around 2PM -- fruit or veggies
5. Healthy later afternoon snack around 4PM -- especially if you are going to work out
6. Healthy and moderated dinner
Avoid empty calories. Don't eat things that are useless* and not good for you*. Avoid too much sweets, too much salt.
*Subjective -- Yummy food that makes you feel good is not useful nor bad for you. Just enjoy in moderation.
